India has launched a laptop of price 35$ (1500Rs). This laptop is protype touch screen. Commercially its release in market will be in next year.

Indian Minister for Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal stated that this device also has solar power option.

India’s minister also stated that this laptop is answer to the laptop built by Massachusetts Institute of Technology U.S.A. The laptop of Massachusetts Institute of Technology is available at 100$. This laptop has amazing features. This laptop has made by India’s top Information Technology Colleges. They used memory card instead of hard disk just as mobiles. This laptop can run on solar power. This Indian Innovation can be used to run Linux Operating System and available in institutes for students in next year. The plan is drop the price to 10$.
